Le Monde claims Froth on the Daydream the original English title of Mood Indigo to be one of the ten best books of the last century. From what I recall I was embarrassed for the writer. The movie has been picked up by Drafthouse Films and should appear in a limited release at art house cinemas sometime in the bois and eventually be released on DVD.

The book has been translated several times into English under different titles. Alyssum, who is resentful of Chick’s neglect of her in favor lf his burgeoning collection, attempts to save him financially and renew his bboris in her coam persuading Heartre to stop publishing books, whom she kills when he refuses.

Absurdish writing from another era that was badly served by the fanboy introduction. Following its debut in France, Froth on the Foan received little notice in the press and underperformed in sales. What a strange title. For me the book was just pages written with text, some characters, events, but really disgusting fantasy of the author. As a side note they claim that 7 out of the 10 were written by French authors.
